Abenbare House | D'Arcy Jones Architecture
Toronto / Canada / 2012
Under the original roof of this house built in 1957, a contemporary layout was configured, exposing the hipped geometry that is typically concealed with flat ceilings. Lined with oak paneling, the interior is like a jewel box that elegantly enables the clients to viscerally experience all four seasons, via courtyards and sunken gardens carved out of the floor plan.
