When the house was built in 1954, the main front was looking to a urban street while the back one was confronting an old ceramic industrial messy area. This produced two different fronts, one modernist alike, and other decontrolled, full of additions.

The main goal of the project was to give better living to the house, while clarifying its inner relationship. Redesigning its back front while expand it and gain more space to the bedroom floor, became natural during the design process. To gain livability, both first and second floors were reshaped. The first one organizes common spaces – living room, office and kitchen trough informal and non divided spaces, and the second one organizes four bedrooms, in a traditional manner.

This allow more sunlight to the interior and new spatial relations between common spaces and the front garden.
