ASTRAPAE | STARTT
Extension of BORTOLIN ANGELO SPUMANTI SAS Winery
The project is inspired by the relationship of the winery facilities and the owners houses with the geographical context, to underline the reference between wine and its territory: the woods drawing the line of sight, the vineyards upstream, the housing system along the ridge above; finally the over-range neighboring wine plants. Astrapae is a landscape solution shaping the soil along the lines of slope, in continuity with the existing basement of the residence level and running out to frame the skyline of the mountains of Valdobbiadene. The inclined plane of the cover draws an abstract landscape, suspended over the valley, which has the function of separating the paths to the winery and the ones to the houses.
