Exhibitionfs venue configuration and design of Young architectsf model exhibition:
gPleasure of the new Architecture 2013h.
All garchitectureh is built by embedding the foundation on the ground,
but its small alter ego, gmodelh, is placed on hypothetical ground
-such as top of the table or conception, sometimes picked up, held, and rotated freely
to help us to improve the accuracy of the diagram and space in the process of designing.
So to let people experience the soft floating situation and the hatching process of architecture,
I attempt to exchange g the hypothetical ground = transparent groundh to a real life gtransparent exhibition standh for the exhibition plan.
Even though the stand for the model is transparent, neither model nor architecture can float in the air.
In this exhibition, gtransparent exhibition standh is built up by collecting and piling up the materials being regarded as gtransparent existenceh. But when all transparent materials come together, we can make out the fact that it will no longer be transparent at all.
Therefore it can bring out that the gtransparency / presence is only relative matterh, and on the other hand, we can know the another fact that the recognition of gbeing transparenth -in other words gMITATE (metaphorical thinking)h can creates many pleasure and novelty of architecture.
