Focus Design have created a unique bar café space as part of a first-class marina development.  Set in the beauty of a natural harbour and picturesque countryside The Boathouse Café is inspired by American Rowing Club style. The feature timber cladding creates a warm feel and retreat from the outside elements as does the retro log burner. The vibrant colour accents stimulate the senses for daytime and complete the relaxed modern café.  This project is the result of a close and longstanding collaboration with Ideal Collection to ensure the operation was to an exceptional standard. This is not the first time the two have joined up to produce something inspiring in the hospitality interiors industry with the completion of No.5 Bridge Street in 2012. The Boathouse Café needed to offer mariners, tourists and staff a breakfast, lunch and supper granting stunning views across the harbour.  The brief indicated the need for a relaxed café bar in the daytime, transformed to an open pantry restaurant with indoor and outdoor dining in the evening. This certainly ticks all boxes.
