Founded by the French tennis champion René Lacoste, the brand has been synonymous with exclusive sport and leisure wear since the 1930s. The French company Devanlay have been Lacoste’s (textil) main licensee since the company’s inception, and since late 2012 their largest shareholder.
The union of both companies also meant moving into a group headquarters. One of the main tasks was to create an office environment which would favour the homogenisation of both corporate cultures and would create a joint basis for identification.
