The New Scientific University Center in San Benedetto is a structure that answers to modernity’s demands: make space of relationship, connection and in the same time be a new form of technology and progress.
The project involves the insertion of individual functional areas or aggregated for the entire lenght of the river in its final stretch of 2 Km from the street at the mouth, grafted on a cycle-pedestrian on the right bank of the river. This trail offers views and interesting situations.
Each band acquires its specific connotation due to various heights, the different treatment of the materials, the specific relationship that each one createswith the river, so as to make sense to the user the different functions. On this system are grafte various volumes of different shapes and dimensions: accomodation, sports facilities, scientific complex, samll theatres, cafeterias and libraries.
