RENOVATION M | Keitaro Muto

This was the renovated plan for family of two. RC residential apartment was built more than 50 years ago.

Their father has been the building owner, and the plan has been looked ahead to utilization of the rent.

There was a low cost plan. The plan was started that was broken boundary walls of existed two rooms and was removed all partitions, equipment.

Because of the building was built on the corner, it had variable size and formed windows along street.

So, Living room was environed the bright spaces, which is called “the garden”, along the perimeter is face to street.

The Garden was connected to bathroom, dry room, workspace and bedroom. And its floor, walls and ceiling were white color finishing.

The light transmissions have not curtained only windows but also all walls, they could have been resolved to not see existed sashes and outside chaotic environment.

And being curtained at living room side has been made to be carried pleasant light to living room.
