The newspapaer A.M. it’s a tradition daily in Guanajuato, part of the group Reforma. It produces his content in the city of Leon where it’s printed and taken to all the state, once it receives and integrates his daily edition material correspondent to Celaya or Irapuato.

To achieve a projection with that social importance and saving the financial viability, the owners gave a privileged and well located land. It’s a long and wide place, facing one of the main avenues of the city, taking advantage in three different ways: the newspaper offices, different small business and another small place for selling or rental offices.

Like this, it’s built an architectonic multi-use that yields the principal triple height cube volume as the image of the newspaper. Here are hosted in the main floor the meetings and attention center, and in the second level are the general director office, editors and work chambers. In the other side of the building, is allowed the entrance to the rental offices. And just downside is the small business place with access from the street.

The daily dairy image is the protagonist of the building thou it doesn’t extends all over the place.

Volumetrically the bet was to build a triple height edification of almost 100 meters of length. All along are vertical lines used as ventilation systems with windows.

Using these lines is to have a dynamic façade. Making a game of empty and solid spaces, variations in the morphology, giving a distinction to every part thou they all are one single body.

This project contemplates a central plaza and the possibility of future expansions in case so of needed.
