The Niki Club, a retreat set among the dense green mountains of northern Honshu, aims to reconnect city dwellers with nature. The hotel itself is a celebration of modern design in an idyllic rural setting. Terence Conran was involved with the design of the stylish East Annex, a tranquil network of wood-clad guesthouses, restaurant and spa.
Conran Contracts brief was to procure pieces of luxury that paid homage to the clean lines and natural materials of the interior. Pieces of comfort were a priority so guests could relax and take full advantage of their surroundings, the moss green Swan chair perfectly suited all criteria. Supplied with Fritz Hansen
