This theatre is meant to be located at Vlasina Rid, Serbia, next to highland Vlasina Lake. The style was inspired by local architecture of privite two floor houses with tile gable roofs. Also only local materials are used. To make the theatre seem smaller than it is and more of the scale to the surrounding it consists of sevral blocks joint together.
The main idea of this theatre was to make a transformable auditorium space so it could be used as four sepparate stages (a main one and three additional) or so they could be combined as needed. To do so, each seats area is made of 1 square meter blocks with push-up system underneath, which allows to make the seat area of the right shape and angle.
It also was very important to me to use the panorama view of the lake, which is very beautiful, espesially at the sunset. Thats why small auditorium blocks have panoramic windows so the lake and mountains can be used as a background for a play.
