Bookstore "ORANGE" | Maria Tzekova

The project is a proposal for change in the design of the bookstore ORANGE. Existing space in one of the Sofia malls, which is employed by the same bookstore serve as basis for the project. The concept of the project is called "Bulgarian Alphabet". The idea is every letter to symbolize particular area in the bookstore. The letters are marked on the walls, ceiling and furniture and play the role of shelves. By this logic, the letter "M" means music stall, "Ф" is the stall with movies, in "Д" are children's books and the stall is low. As the name of the shop is ORANGE letter "O" is designed as pay desk. The letters "B" and "Ъ " are designed as furniture . The letter "Ю" has been transformed into a cafeteria. Each letter represents type of literature or product that is available in the bookstore. The aim of the concept is to create a more attractive environment for book lovers.
