Casa da Piscina e da Vista

The implementation of this project happened in an interesting way due to the will of doing a big leisure area, but the position of the area was an obstacle since it is located in a corner, the recoil had to be too big which reduced the free space of the area. That way the “great solution” came up: turning the “L”, that contained the leisure area and faced the interior of the house, towards the out side of the house, that way using the recoil as part of the leisure area. Along to the implementation arises the concept of the project, which consists in the superposition of volumes in order to prioritize the pool area integrating it with the balcony and the room. The three volumes are divided by functions: leisure, intimate areas and garage and service spaces . Other aspect that was part of the concept was the interest in allowing that the three suites on the upper floor could enjoy the view of the horizon. In this project there was a search for the total integration between closed and opened areas. From the entrance gallery it is possible to visualise the garden, which integrates the balcony, the living room and the deck. At the living room the integration is done by wide openings that make contact with the open area of the house - balcony, garden, deck and pool. Another important aspect of the living room and dining room is the double height ceilings that provides a vertical integration in the house. Enjoying the natural lighting and ventilation is always a gain for residential projects, to generate it in the Vista House was made a metal panel in front that provides ventilation in the office and on the stairs. The ladder is also covered by a dome that provides natural lighting inside the house. The front facade of the project has the aluminum trim strips that dialogue with a metal panel for ventilation. The side facade uses a wooden brise-soleil to protect the intimate rooms of the house. The minimalistic aesthetics makes the project really interesting . The volumes are clean and provide visual comfort . The frontal facade has the floor in balance, causing a sensation of lightness that relates with the cleanness of the volumes.
