Being close to the marina of Herzliya, with view of the sea spread out on the horizon and the yacht masts, led us to create a language borrowed from the sailing world. Ritz Carlton Hotel lobby is located as an Atrium space, between the two parts of the building. Public floor design principle is keeping the Human Scale versus the large atrium space, and keeping an open front to the sea. Corridors combined with video art, creates an experience by presenting temporary works of art which exposed the guest transition from one space to another. The items we designed and the intimate spaces we created, maintain the sense of openness and power of the landscape.
