This attic apartment is situated on the sixth floor of a historic building, in the XVII District of Paris. This project is characterized by a contemporary approach emphasized by natural and artificial lights that highlights the environment. The living in its original state was a single 24 mq room of a traditional rectangular shape, then subdivided from the wall sliding transparent. The living room is much bright to the eye than the existing room, yet at the same time functional, maintaining a slight separation between the two environments. The walls, ceiling and the forniture are painted white, leaving almost as a single note of colour the parquet flooring. The lights and the material used for the space have the features to create a space that it highlights the essence and the functionality.
