The prestigious designer José María Civit has lead, in collaboration with the studio Taula de Disseny, this unique project of ephemeral architecture, with an industrial character and within the framework of the logistics building Actiu Technology Park, has successfully hosted the 10th edition of the Annual Suma Forum in the province of Alicante. The event required a daring project, with great creativity, which resulted in the construction of three spaces limited by cardboard boxes that have marked the line. A two sided central stage, divided the conference area from the work area. The Trama 10 growth desk and the Mit colourful chairs, in the four legged version, covered the space destined for conferences for more than 250 participants. On the sides we have placed trolleys designed to store and transport the Plek folding chairs in a simple and comfortable way. Ten chairs can fit into each trolley which were used as extra seating. On the opposite side of the stage for speakers, a work and networking area was set up. Different compositions from the Cool E100 program of desks covered a wide space, which was turned into meetings for eight, twelve or sixteen participants. We installed the Cool E100 model with a 100 cm height accompanied by the Mit draughtman chair which contributed to a more social and dynamic predisposition of work. A area destined to be the cafe, informal and casual, was the first of the three spaces and was in charge of welcoming the attendees to the event. Here we placed Cafe tables in the different heights available. (73 and 100 cm). The models of the square table were combined with the Viva chair, while the round, higher ones, were paired with the other versions of Mit, the banquet. All the cafe space was surrounded with the avant guard bench Transit, presented in two out of the three finishes, wood and polyurethane. The aim of the Suma Forum, focused on the issues of territorial innovation, to design projects and initiatives for the modernization of the territory of the province and for sustainable development by promoting the competitiveness and dynamism of the different economic sectors. This is taking shape with the proposed creation of the so called “Zero Agencies”, new structures from public-private collaboration aimed at promoting strategic projects and turning them into reality.
