It rises in the ancient city of Victoria: built in 1672 on medieval ruins, it is called “the marble Basilica” because its interior is completely covered with this precious material. All the light fittings were specifically designed for the Basilica and have enhanced the different architectural spaces (domes, naves, transepts, altars and choruses), the diverse materials (marble, gold, bronze and glass) and the works of art (sculptures, paintings, frescoes and sacred furnishings). Lights illuminate spaces and details creating well balanced scenographies and a quiet ambience for prayer and meditation.
