In our projects, research is always trying to find the right solution to problems as the mission of architecture is solving rather than representing. Our work aims at rediscovering design and refinement of details typical of Italian culture, more specifically of a certain Milanese school – we are
thinking of Caccia Dominioni, Ignazio Gardella, Franco Albini – capable of creating extraordinarily beautiful and at the same time functional architecture and objects. Italian architecture has always managed to prove how the sense of measure, simplicity and clarity are not synonymous with “punishing rigour” because love for refined details and artisanal care distinguishes us from the rest of the world and this is what people are still searching for in our way of working.
