The project involves the expansion of the existing building, thanks to the law "piano casa". After some structural investigations, together with the customer, I decided for the expansion toward west, extending the higher roof. A porch formed by some steel columns along all the perimeter, except on the west front. Here there is a big terrace and the columns are interrupted in correspondence of first floor, highlighting the main prospect and, ideally, framing the new building. The main entrance is situated on the first floor, because on the ground floor there is a big garage. The living zone is very illuminated thanks to the big windows that are collocated on the south and west sides. The distribution is very easy end clean. The client was a rugby player and then he loves very much the "third time". For this, I decided to put a very long table in front of a tv zone, for to watch the match with a good beer and friends. A closet-wall with a retractable door divided the living room from the bathroom. The stair for go up to second floor are positioned on the central wall, for optimize the space. The stair is hidden by a steel wall that is cut in correspondence of the first step. On the right of this, there is a closet for put the coat and the shoes after getting into the house. The second floor is dedicated of a big bedroom with a private bathroom. A glass divide the bedroom from the shower, in such a way as to interrupt the intimacy of the showering. The external finishes will be in clear gray plaster and the windows will be on wood. The ground floor, for underline that is a technical room, is in dark gray plaster.
