Dark and sleek, The Restaurant MANI stands enthroned upon a pedestal of black marble. Cool the outside, inside a glamorous appearance. After entering the lobby with reception desk and library, a sculptural green marble and glass fireplace – once referred to as a fish tank of fire- attracts the eye. Guests are guided over polished mastic asphalt and smoked oak parquet floors along the buzzing open kitchen into the back dining area always facing that central piece of the restaurant. Here they can relax and enjoy the view into the jungle-like garden patio creating the perfect backdrop. Dining and drinks are not the only pleasure found here, Architects Ester Bruzkus and Patrick Batek chose materials with a sharp selectiveness. Glossy Macassar walls, Pasol mirrors also for ceilings and vintage French leather for upholstery all provide a “French porn chic à la Romy Schneider in the seventies” charme. As the hidden gem of Torstraße, the 320 square meter Restaurant MANI offers the splendid experience of that edgy and elegant atmosphere.
