The approach for this winter house has been based on the traditional architecture of the village and influenced by its exterior aspect. The use of stone, as a primal structural material, the exposed wooden beams and the wooden stairs have been the benchmarks for the architectural design of the interiors. The minimal, cubic volume of the fireplace has been drawn away from the folkloristic standard and has functioned as a point of reference for the rest of the living room.
