Derived from creating shape within a volume. Marlies van Putten's concept ‘Sous les Pavés, La Plage’ was the spark that started the collaboration between Rutger de Regt and Marlies van Putten.
The search for freedom within the restrictions of the volume led to a handson casting process, based on guiding substances rather than controlling them. The Cotton Candy characteristics are the result of the clash between the different materials.
