Piotr Wiśniewski is an architect and designer. Wiśniewski was born in Poznan in Western Poland and completed his Masters in Architecture at the UdK in Berlin.
Wiśniewski collects 20th century furniture and is particularly fond of vintage postmodern Italian design, which he combines with custom made pieces of his own creation. Wiśniewski’s projects combine contemporary art, architectural elements, bespoke and vintage furniture. Wiśniewski co-founded his own design company weStudio, together with Barbara Elwardt in Berlin, Germany in 2021. weStudio specialises in the hospitality industry and designs in hotels (most recently the cōmodo collection), restaurants and luxury residential. The most crucial part for him is the context of every project - this ensures that each one is individual and unique.
