Olga Bielawska

OLGA BIELAWSKA is a freelance designer in Hamburg, Germany. Born in Warsaw/ Poland, raised in Bavaria/ Germany, she graduated in 2007 from the Bauhaus University in Weimar. Together with a colleague Astrid Schildkopf, she founded the experimental label: Miss Geschick & Lady Lapsus in 2006, creating humorous accessories for our everyday life. Besides developing ideas and concepts for various clients, in 2012 she started working on new products in different fields ranging from furniture to tableware to extend her own collection. The new Collection, developed for the Furnitue Fair in Milan *MADE BY CRAFTSMEN is exploring various materials and traditional techniques, to show how can design and craft work together. Her purpose is to give every object a unique character and a narrative personality, which is able to accumulate stories of lives lived around it.
