Born in Durango, Mexico in 1976, he completed his undergraduate Architecture studies at ITESM, Campus Monterrey. He finished his Master of Landscape Architecture studies at the University of Arizona. He has received Academic Awards in Design Excellence from ITESM and the University of Arizona, as well as a Certificate of Merit for Excellence in the Study of Landscape Architecture from the American Society of Landscape Architects. From 1998 to 2000 he worked with GDU, collaborating in Urban Design, Landscape Architecture and Architecture projects in Mexico, Lebanon and the United States. He collaborated with Walker-Macy, a Landscape Architecture and Urban Planning firm in Portland, Oregon, gaining experience in Landscape Architecture and Planning projects throughout the Pacific Northwest. Since 2004, he is back in Mexico with Grupo de Diseño Urbano working as a Landscape Designer, and collaborating in the development of Master Plans and Landscape Architecture projects throughout México. He was Project Manager for a GDU project in Shen Zhen, China.
