Max Piva was born in Biella (Italy) in 1984. In 2001 he graduated in the Artistic Lyceum in Venice. From 2001 he is studying Industrial Design at Universitaet fuer Angewandte Kunst in Vienna. In 2004 he participated to a group exhibition at the Cube Gallery in Venice. In 2005 he exhibited his works with John Bishop and Doris Wassmer in the island of Mustique, at Seawords. In the same year he made three personal exhibitions: the first in May in Nova Gorica (Slovenia) at Mitforma Gallery and the second in June during the Venice Biennale at the Basilica of SS. Giovanni e Paolo (sala San Tommaso). The last exhibition was in November 2005 in Vienna. Max Piva lives and works between Venice and Vienna.
