Mario Padiglione
Born in 1983 in Rome. He has a bachelor degree in Industrial Design from University “La Sapienza” at Faculty of Architecture of Rome in the 2008. The degree thesis has been exposed in the international exposition “Roma Design Più” in the same year.
In parallel with their studies, he was working among small industrial companies which bring it to the technical knowledge of the furniture design.
In the 2010 he has taken part at lighting design workshop organised by SPD ( Scuola Politecnica di Design), and directed by Ross Lovegrove.
In the same years was awarded a Master Degree in ” Sviluppo per il Disegno Industriale” at “Politecnico di Milano”, it drives him to do an intership with Ariete, De Longhi group Industries , where he developed some electronic consumer products.
Later he has worked in some milan design studies, including Roberto Paoli and Tonettidesign.
Since 2016 he has been working as a freelance in his own studio, working with different design studios and companies, including Rosenthal GmbH and dnd by martinelli.
