Born in 1985 in Milan, Marco Gottardi studied Industrial Design at Politecnico di Milano, where he graduated in 2010. In 2009 he started to collaborate with Marc Sadler. Since 2010 he works at Piero Lissoni studio, as a product designer, developing products, packaging, custom design and exhibition design for some of the most important design companies. In the same year he won the Lucky Strike Talented Designer Award 2010, with the project “Extralarge”. In 2012 the project “Linea” won the competition Garden unique - Dining outdoors and it was exhibited at Spoga Gafa fair in Cologne. In 2013 he was one of the finalist in the Host Thinking competition, and his product was exhibit at Fiera Milano during Host fair. In 2014 he exhibits is project "Foglio" at the Triennale Design Museum.
