Marcelo Villada Ortiz
Marcelo Villada, born in Colombia in 1975, works as an architectural photographer in the canton of Ticino, Switzerland. As a young man, he attended several painting academies and in 1993 he enrolled in the Faculty of Fine Arts of the National University of Colombia, where in 1999 he obtained the title of "Maestro en Bellas Artes". In parallel, he studied anthropology at the University of Antioquia, which he then abandoned to concentrate on the Fine Arts. He then undertook a fair amount of exhibition activity, especially in the field of photography and video art, in Colombia, arriving at exhibiting in VII Bogota Art Biennial and to be selected for exhibitions in Spain, Portugal, Japan and Switzerland. In the meantime, he continued his education by becoming interested in computer animation, rendering and experimenting in the field of Graphic Design and creation for new multimedia supports.
