Lluís Bort is an architect and architectural photographer whose life has always been linked to the world of photography. This is because there has always been a strong interest in photography in his home, where he would spend his afternoons in the black and white developing lab, under the red light and the smell of chemicals, helping with whatever tasks were assigned to him. As he grew older, he became involved with the photography group "L’art de la llum de Onda" (Castellón). It was within this group that he participated in his first photography contests, exhibitions, and won several awards over the years.
When he began studying architecture, he discovered a discipline of photography that was not yet in his repertoire. So, he started training himself and developing it alongside his architectural studies. Collaborating with various architectural firms allowed him to photograph some of their projects. Over the years, he has managed to capture the essence of architectural projects from studios such as "fabricante de espheras," Grupo Aranea, Tabuenca & Leache, and José María Sánchez García, among others. He also has personal projects such as "Arquitecturas vacías" or "Visión de un foraster," which currently have several itinerant exhibitions scheduled throughout Spain. Through these projects, he seeks to raise awareness in society about the importance of heritage for each region in our country.
Finally, it should be noted that Lluís is also involved in teaching, offering courses on Architectural and Landscape Photography at the College of Architects of the Balearic Islands.
