Laure Kasiers is a modern artisan who designs and crafts rugs. Her goal is to reclaim the floor, to take rugs out from under the table and into the middle of the room. Her pieces are places to live, to cuddle, to rest, to play. Laure uses her own unique techniques to assemble thread, leather or synthetic straps or yarn. As her rugs are just as tactile as they are visual, she welcomes to her studio anyone who wants to get an idea of what the different materials and composition feel like.
