Kirsty received a first class BA Design (hons) at Goldsmiths College in 2005 before being appointed at Boym Partners in New York as a Junior Product Designer. On returning to London Kirsty joined the well renowned British based Design company, Established & Sons in 2007 as the Head of Product Development, working closely with Design Director Sebastian Wrong. From October 2011 Kirsty began a one year residency working as a Designer at Fabrica, the Benetton group's creative research laboratory, based in Italy under the creative direction of French Designer Sam Baron.

In her personal work, Kirsty is heavily influenced by a strong contrast between her concept-led degree course as well as her practical five year manufacturing experience. She is driven by a desire to push design that stimulates discussion and debate as well as celebrating a narrative approach to the world of design.
