Katie Earl brings a wealth of interior architectural experience to No.12, having spent several years working in-house at a number of leading design companies. Her mission is to transform the luxury interior design industry with new ways of working, forward-thinking designs and a sophisticated, elegant yet contemporary aesthetic.
Acting on a lifelong ambition to make an impact in the interior design sector, Katie cut her design teeth at United Designers before joining 1508 London, where she first met Emma Rayner, now her No.12 cofounder. She later went on to lead and establish a smaller west London design studio as Creative Director. Two years later No.12 was born.
Katie’s portfolio of completed projects prior to No.12 includes a variety of hospitality commissions in London and overseas. Specialising in super-prime residential interiors, including the design and project management of the private residential townhouse 4 Cornwall Terrace (10,000sqft, £2million budget) and the space planning and interior design for the premium penthouses at Fitzroy Place, one of London’s major residential landmarks. She has also advised on London’s prime residential market, working closely with leading property developers such as Capital & Counties Properties PLC and Argent LLP.
A love of interior design has driven Katie’s ambition to see the fruition of No.12, a studio that can offer something truly exceptional. Her passion for luxury products and sophistication in design combined with a keen eye for detail, from an intricate stitch on a bespoke sofa to the metal trim in a joinery item, ensures that projects are considered from interior architecture, interior design, through to the finishing touches in the styling and creative direction.
No.12 was founded with a simple mission: to provide an elegant, holistic, fresh approach to interior design. Katie and Emma’s combined architectural and design expertise and a rigorous approach underpins every No.12 project ensuring an equal partnership and full service offering.
