Kapil Gupta is the co-founder and principal of Serie Architects London, Mumbai and Beijing. He was a Director of the Urban Design Research Institute, Mumbai between 2008 and 2003.
Kapil Gupta curated on behalf of the UDRI, India’s first ever entry to the Venice Architecture Biennale 2006, entitled ‘Bombay’s Land: Between the Relic and the Void’. This culminated in an gallery exhibition ‘Reading ^ the Lines’, Project 88, Mumbai (Sept-Oct 2007) and an essay, Abandon Mumbai’ for Art India, 2008. H
