Kaori Shiina

After graduating in Art and Literature at the University SEIJO, he graduated from the Institute of Design TOKYO DESIGNER Gaguin. Since 1987 he collaborated with Studio De Pas D'Urbino Lomazzi. In 2005 he began his own activity, opening a studio in which it develops activities in the fields of Industrial Design, Interior Design, research and /or market advisor of Italian design for Japanese companies, in Italy and in Japan. Since 2012, Kaori Shiina and Riccardo Nardi began collaborating, founding together in Milan: Shiina Nardi + Design. Since the foundation has so far worked with companies such as Bonaldo, CISA Ceramics (Group Richetti), Fiam, Fasem, Tonelli, Fonderie Viterbesi, Legnomagia, Riva1920, Ercole Moretti, Cleanup Corporation, Panasonic Italy, Sekisui Heim, restaurant Kushi (Milan), Kentaro restaurant (Pesaro), with various participation in important events and exhibitions of International Design and some publications. 成城学園高校、成城大学文藝学部卒業後、東京デザイナー学院卒業。 1987年よりイタリアミラノの建築スタジオ「デパス・ドゥルビーノ・ロマッツィ」に勤務。 同スタジオで、プロダクトデザイン、インテリアデザイン、ブースデザイン、建築等多種の仕事にかかわり、多数の作品に署名する。中でも私邸のインテリアデザインは「ABITARE]をはじめ、多の建築インテリア誌に掲載された。 2005年独立。プロダクトデザイン、インテリアデザインの分野でデザイン活動を開始。 2012年、Riccardo NardiとShiina+Nardi Design を開設。 デザイン活動のほかに、日本・イタリア企業のデザインディレクター、ミラノサローネ参加等のデザインプロデューサー、イタリア人デザイナーと日本企業コラボレーションのプロデューサーにもかかわる。 2013年ミラノFuorisalone「Oriental design week」をグループで企画。企画展、6人の日本女性デザイナーとイタリアの伝統職人「J+I」のプロデューサーを務める。 日本・イタリアにかかわらず、「伝統工芸・職人とデザイン」をライフワークとしている。 主なクライアント：Bonaldo, Fiam, Tonelli, Legnomagia, CISA Ceramica (Gruppo Richetti),　Riva1920、Ercole Moretti,　セキスイハイム東海、Panasonic Italy、クリナップ、ブラザー工業、ミラノ日本食レストラン「KUSHI」２F改装　ペーザロ日本食レストラン「Kentaro」 http://www.shiinanardidesign.com
