Jukka Setälä (b. 1967) is a Finnish interior architect who graduated from the University of Art and Design Helsinki in 1996. Since graduating, he has been working as a freelance furniture and lighting designer. He has created many products – mainly industrial design – but his most famous design is without any doubt Fatboy the Original bean bag. Jukka Setälä has participated in many exhibitions and received awards for his works, such as the Excellent Swedish Design Award for his Spring lamp or the Best New Furniture in Europe 2006. Jukka Setälä has been teaching furniture design at University of Art and Design Helsinki since 1999.
