Painter. President of Kyoto University of Art and Design. Born in 1958, in Tokyo. He graduated from the Department of Japanese Painting, Faculty of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts in 1982. He completed his MFA, The Graduate School of Tokyo University of the Arts in 1984, and his graduation work was purchased by his University.
