Born in 1962 in Loosdrecht, the Nederlands. Hanneke Huisman is a designer and interior architect. She graduate in 1985 from the Hogeshool voor de Kunsten , Utrecht and in 1987 from the Domus Academy, Milano. During the five years of experience in Italy she collaborate in some projects with Francesco Binfare’. Her work was also influenced by the work of Vico Magistretti and Gaetano Pesce whom she met in this period . In 1993 she started her own Design studio and showroom in Hilversum where she continues her activities in designing furniture and interior projects. In her own design Hanneke Huisman creates a balance between the two different cultures of her upbringing: the Dutch and the Italian. The influence can been seen in her product where elegance and comfort meet.
