Greg Walton
Greg co-founded Studio McW after graduating from Newcastle University with Distinction. His thesis project was shortlisted for the highly prestigious RIBA Presidents Silver Medal, as well as winning the HB Saint William Bell Memorial Prize for best major design project and the APL Travelling Award in the same year. After graduating Greg was awarded a commendation in the national RIBA Forgotten Spaces competition. He worked previously at a number of start-up and established architecture studios across London, as well as spending time undertaking specialist architectural research in Paris, Los Angeles and New York. Greg has been a guest speaker at RIBA events and his thesis work has been exhibited and published internationally.

Greg is motivated to create highly unique architecture that is designed and developed not in isolation, but through mindful responses to particular conditions of the site, context and client. He believes that the greatest value added to buildings is through considered design and is an advocate for championing young voices in the architectural industry.
