Born in Thessaloniki in 1974, George Ververidis, an artist and a designer was strongly influenced by the family-owned business which wasin the field of manufacturing furniture. In 1992 he decides to follow his passion for design and moves to Florence, Italy, to study industrial product design and interior architecture at Academia Italiana Moda e Design. Since then he has been traveling, studying and designing objects (mainly furniture) of high aesthetics and functionality, always combining his love for design with his professional occupation. Observing the everyday needs of modern times, in 2015 he decides to create Verfo Lab, a company that aims to present specialized items in the furniture area, covering everyday functional and aesthetic needs.
