Francis Cayouette has a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design from the University of Montreal, and 20 years of experience in product design. His past work in Canada provided much valuable experience in all aspects of the design development process—setting the foundation for his “feet-on-the-ground” approach. Since establishing himself in the Nordic region 12 years ago, Francis has set himself apart by fusing a fresh new perspective with the established conventions of Scandinavian simplicity, humanism and functionality. Francis has direct, hands-on involvement in all stages of the projects. His realistic but highly creative approach includes working closely with the client to define the right strategy and using design as a tool throughout the development process. Francis understands the importance of listening, and has a strong sense of what is relevant for the end user. This allows him to transform input from all parties throughout the process into smart solutions that work.
