Francesco Scansetti lived in Milan and since 1975 worked in the architecture and design field. From 1975 to 1984 he cooperated with the G.P.I. studio, taking part in the request for bids for the arrival building of the Milan airport and in the industrial design projects for Milan airport of Linate and Malpensa. In 1984 he opened his own office, designing for lots of firms like Kartell, Insa, Famac, Acerbis, Luxo, Seven.
In 1991, in collaboration with M. Paul and G. Gurioli, Scansetti founded SYN Design, dealing with projects and production, designing for other firms like Outlook Design Italia, etc.
Scansetti’s works are exibited at the MOMA of New York and at the most renowned museums.
