Filipa Farreca
Graduated in Architecture in 2018 at the University of Minho, Portugal, she developed a great interest during her academic career on the recovery of the built heritage. The thesis work presented "Rua Serpa Pinto 57/59, Viseu" on the rehabilitcion and conversion of uses of two buildings in the historic center of Viseu, Portugal has been selected to integrate the online platform Red PHI (Patrimonio Histórico + Cultural Iberoamericano).
In 2018 she arrives in Italy to participate as a volunteer of the Erasmus + European Voluntary Service program in the "Banca del Fare" project of the Association Parco Culturale Alta Langa. Here she became passionate about the use of natural materials and craftsmanship, in contemporary architecture and in the rehabilitation of vernacular buildings.
In 2019 she collaborated for a year as a trainee of the Erasmus + Traineeship program at Studio Ellisse Architetti and participated as coordinator of the summer workshops and design and communication assistant of "Banca del Fare" project together with Arch. Nadia Battaglio and Arch. Lorenzo Serra.
Since 2020 she collaborates as an architect at Studio Ellisse Architetti
