Ferdinand Verbeek

At an early stage Ferdinand, gifted with an eye for design, had developed a deep interest in and love for technology. He created an amazing loudspeaker. This did not go unnoticed and a friend consulted Ferdinand for advice in designing his store. For the lighting in the store, Ferdinand designed and crafted his first light object. After a week being sold, he was asked to create another one. Is Ferdinand a geek? He prefers to keep it to structured professional madness, driven by his eternal quest for perfection and knowledge of the materials with which he works. Perfection to the exact millimetre. There are no components that do not pass his hands, not a design that does not meet his requirements, by definition, sky-high. He is a light designer who places great value on the core excellence of his product’s, maybe even more so than their final shape.
