Founder of Unbuild Creative Studio, Federico was born and raised in Italy. After graduating in Urban Planning Architecture at IUAV in Venice, he moved to Milan where he obtained his master’s degree in Interior Design at the Polytechnic University of Milan. He started his professional career as an interior designer in Florence and Milan before moving to Shanghai in 2013 for the opportunity to live and immerse himself in a rapidly developing international environment and to learn more about the fascinating Asian culture. He joined Neri&Hu Design and Research Office in 2014, where he was involved in a wide range of projects and played a leading role in the visualization phase for international design competitions. Before starting his own practice in 2020 he was leading the PxWe Virtual design team at WeWork in Shanghai. In 2020 he relocated to Denmark to lead the visual team at Bjarke Ingels Group Copenaghen working on international design competitions in Asia. Federico’s multidisciplinary background and sense of aesthetics can be attributed to his curiosity and constant research. Passionate about design and art he collaborates with DDN design magazine, focused on reports about the design world in China. Since August 2017 he has been the design ambassador in China for the Polytechnic University of Milan
