He was born in Genoa in 1947 and he lives in Florence. In 1964 he attended the Art Institute of Florence specializing in graphic design under the guidance of Lucio Venna. He was indicated for the biennial of young Parisians by Enrico Crispolti; he participated in many important art exhibitions, he is interested in industrial design, designing "furniture-object". Several personal and collective exhibitions follow, in them Fabio De Poli exhibits large-format paintings, graphic works, "artist's books". He invents the magazine "Meta, parole e immagini." In 1992 he participated in the Book of Italian artist at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. In 1996 he released the monograph. Numerous exhibitions and installations validate its presence in Florence, Pescia, Montecatini, Pistoia, Vasto, Crema, Finale Ligure, up to the two major retrospective exhibitions in Milan, the gallery Farsettiarte. In recent years he has been dedicated to achievement the Capalbio Cinema awards and to the design of the windows of the new Resistance Museum in Siena. Since 2009 he is artistic director of the art gallery Usher art in Lucca.
