MJARC Architects was recently awarded the European 40 Under 40 award, which highlights the next generation of European architects and designers as well as the world Architecture Community. Our ambition – or indeed we believe it is our obligation – to use environmentally sustainable materials and construction methods and bring nature back (to the city), improving biodiversity and well-being. We take a holistic approach and pay attention to detail with the aim of providing sustainable architecture, combining low and high-tech solutions to minimize the carbon footprint without losing sight of aesthetics, making architecture sustainable, durable, timeless.

With the Industrial Revolution, more specifically during the present century, we have seen an increase in the consumption of raw materials and, consequently, energy. This change in consumer habits has launched us into a global environmental crisis that we cannot ignore. We understand that architecture is about improving people's lives and the environment, insofar as architecture can contribute to this. Along with sustainability, philosophy, and art – as inspiration – are inseparable in our creative process are the connectors of culturally influenced proportion and emotion. From these rational and emotional starting points, a prioritized stratification emerges that accompanies us in all phases of a project.

In order to offer the highest quality, we believe it is very important to be involved from the beginning to the completion of a building. This process begins with the formation of a highly creative and dedicated “team” (customers, designers, consultants, contractors, suppliers, among others), building their relationship with trust. We believe that successful architecture is the condensation of people's spirit and beauty emerges as a result of this unification. Trust, communication and complementarity are very important factors for a successful design.
