Tōfus is an Architecture and Design studio based in Naples, Italy. Tōfus consists of Alberto Grasso e Augusto De Cesare, both architects, grown up and trained and continuously influenced by this city. Tōfus means tuff. It’s a Latin word that derives from ancient Greek. The Greek themselves, used to call this rock also póros, because of its own lightness and porosity.
