Prior to establishing Benn & Penna Architects, Andrew was employed with the highly acclaimed international practice of UN Studio (Amsterdam) and worked on numerous projects including the multi-award winning Villa NM, a house recognised by the curator of the Museum of Modern Art New York (MoMA) and the Wall Street Journal as being one of the ten most remarkable homes recently completed from around the world. Andrew has also gained experience working on award winning buildings in leading local architectural practices such as Ian Moore Architects and BVN Architecture. Andrew graduated in 2001 from UNSW with first class honours and a graduation design prize. His final student project was exhibited by the Berlage Institute in Rotterdam as one of only four student projects from across Australia. Since graduation Andrew has held regular teaching roles at University of Sydney, UNSW and UTS.
