PhD from Welsh school of architeture, Cardiff University. Has received his M.Sc. in industrial design [Hons.] from Technion, Haifa. Received his Bachelor of Architecture from Cardiff University/ Wizo School of design [Distinction]. Received his B.Sc. in Civil Engineering, structure and managements from Technion, Haifa, and Received his Certifiacation in Real-Time software Engineering from IBM.
Co-founder of iDAR (Interdisciplinary Design, Architecture and Research), developer of Octumos (Collaboration Intelligence), and ALEF project (ALternative Excellence Framework), Editor-in-chief for RetajDZ.com. Lecturer and Tutor in several schools, conferences and institutes. Has awarded a fellowship at the Palestinian-American Research Center (PARC) for 2009-2010.
His PhD research in Architecture is funded by the ORS and (PARC). His Research investigates the "space, tectonics and making of Palestinian architecture in Israel: impacts of the Israeli Project". His master research in Industrial Design has won the AIQ prize (Third Prize), in 2009. The research investigates "Soundscape in Architecture: Design Criteria". His B.Arch thesis has won the Ministry of Education prize. The research suggests a new approach of upgrading of traditional fabric matrices, by optimizing contemporary architectural and urban preferences, resisting incoherences and bringing evolutionary new urban practices within ‘independent’ existing presences and within urban collisions.
